I decided to read this last night as the baby was sleeping, and was hooked. I had to change plans and share this one with you guys. One thing you need to know is this is part of a set. The author himself says on the first page that it was created as straight for TV. There is plenty of drama, and a cliff hanger. There is also some prequels and companion books for a more in depth look at how the first and second outbreak happened.

There is also some intense fast paced action here! Your introduced to a group of hackers and gamers who would like to play The Game, but can't because it's too expensive. The Game is played by people who can pay big money to control zombies. So they start thinking about going to the physical location where they would be able to hack they're way in. Only problem is the zombies. By the end of the book I was sitting on the floor hanging on to every word. Will they make it? Nail biting moments! I now must read book 2 see what happens next! The story is fast paced, there is slang (they are teens), a little romance, no sexual content, and some violence as they fight for their lives. I was able to read it in a little over 3 hrs, but I'm a fast reader.

The box set of books 1 and 2 are free right now and can be found on Amazon at the following link:

please note I have no idea how long this set will be free
