FantasyCon 2017

Hello everyone.  I’m Raven Williams, coordinator for this year’s Virtual FantasyCon.  I’d like to thank Jena for allowing me to abscond with her blog today, so I can share with you a bit about this year’s con.

This will be the third year for Virtual FantasyCon, an online event that celebrates all things fantasy.  We have authors, publishers, artists, vendors, and the like participating in the week-long event, as well as Panel Discussion videos and the Authors’ Cache booth featuring fantasy books that are on sale during the event.  The dates for this year are October 15th – 21st and will take place on Facebook event pages.  To find out what all Virtual FantasyCon has to offer, visit our website at:

There, you will find the participation options for this year, along with how to sign-up to join in the fun.  We still have plenty of room, so don’t wait.  The deadline to sign-up is September 1, 2017.  While there, be sure to sign-up for our newsletter to receive future updates.

For Fantasy Readers, we have a special page just for you.  Come join us at Virtual FantasyCon Readers’ Corner.

There, you can keep up with the latest news on Virtual FantasyCon, as well as join in on discussions and games.  Also be sure to pop over to the website and check out our Fantasy Books page.  There, you will find lists of books by Sci-Fi & Fantasy authors from around the world.

Past years have been loads of fun, and I expect the same for this year.  So, please, join us in a world where magic rules!

Well, I suppose I should turn the blog back over to its owner.  Thanks again, Jena, for allowing me to steal it for a bit.  Thanks everyone for reading, and I hope to see you at Virtual FantasyCon 2017!

About Raven Williams
A prolific writer, Raven began her career in 2010, first with a blog, next with non-fiction, then finally moving to fiction in 2014, when she began Elven-Jumper, the first book in the Realm Jumper Chronicles.  Now, she has eleven stories published in that epic fantasy series with more planned, as well as two stories in a new mashup series, Raven’s Twisted Classics, and two novelettes in her new dark paranormal series, Witch Hunter’s Society.
When Raven is not writing, she is creating art in the form of fractal designs and abstract paintings.  She is also a caregiver for a disabled family member and two cats.  She currently resides in the Northwest Florida Panhandle, but the Pacific Northwest is the home of her heart.  She hopes to return there one day.
