My Review
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Beware: Possible Spoilers
I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.

Who wouldn't like Diva Vampires? This story is different, and I would have given it five stars, if it wasn't for the manuscript errors, and fluff. An extra word in the middle of a fight is momentarily jarring. There are some misspelled words and confusing scenes.

While there are errors throughout, most are in the first half of the book, and these are issues that can easily be corrected. It may already be done since the book has not reached it's release date.

The story-line opens a world of options to the Author, but it becomes obvious early on that the Author's don't like hurting their characters. Everything seems to be the world is your oyster through most of the book. There are challenges, but the reader is told what they'll be, and sometimes when they will happen, as well as the outcome, leaving little element of surprise. But even with the warnings, there is still a good amount of tension, and it stays pretty tight after the first third of the book.

I liked the characters and found them unique. One is a bit of a cry baby, but there are people like that, and she seems to get past it for the most part before the end. Character growth was satisfying, although some of the main character's thoughts during the fights were unrealistic for the moment.

While I liked the end, it leaves you hanging, and it's a little overdone. Since this is a series, I found the open ending acceptable, and it's obvious the threads left open will move forward with the next book. This book sets-up the rest of the series.
